1996 JEEP CHEROKEE RIGHT HAND DRIVE NO RESERVE AUCTION - HIGHEST BIDDER IS NEXT OWNER**Please Do Not Bid if you are not able to pay for the Jeep, this is the 2nd time listing this vehicle since the winner of the last auction did not understand how an ebay auction works, bids by users with 0 feedback will be deleted unless you call Alex @ 815-777-1777** Check out this 1996 Jeep Cherokee Limited RHD 4x4 we just got in on trade for a new Wrangler RHD. This Jeep came to us from a customer out of Missouri who purchased it originally from a company that imports Cherokees from Japan. This explains why the odometer is in KILOMETERS and not miles. This Jeep does has approximately 159,000 miles on it but as you will see the odometer is in Kilometers. With these older Cherokees we have a process where we just give them an oil change, clean them up and sell them on ebay at a no reserve auction. We have not given this Jeep a service inspection nor do we plan to do so, please do not call asking for more information that what we describe here on the condition. However being in the car business and around these I did give it a look over myself. THE GOODThe Jeep does run and drive and was used by the previous owner on her mail route up until the day we delivered her new Jeep and picked this one up. The interior is in good condition, there is some minimal wear on the backrest of the drivers seat. If you are looking to get into a very cheap right hand drive Jeep this would be a good option for you.THE BADOf course this is what most people will want to know. The tires are down to approximately 40% of the tread remaining, so it would be best to get new tires for this Jeep. The air conditioning is not blowing cold. The trailer wires are cut so they do not work. There are two separate keys, one for the ignition and the other for the door, I am assuming due to having the ignition replaced. I would suggest giving the Jeep a fresh tune up just as I would any older vehicle such as this. I did crawl underneath the Jeep and noticed there are some oil leak, such as pinion seals and axle seals and probably more. At the time that I looked they were not dripping oil but you could notice the leaks. AUCTION TERMSThis is a NO RESERVE auction, the highest bidder will be the next owner of this Cherokee RHD. In addition to the final selling price residents of the state of Illinois will be charged all applicable taxes and fees. Out of state buyers will be charged an additional $219 in fees and will be given a 30 day temporary tag. We do not offer financing on this Jeep but will take a trade in and assist with shipping the Jeep. As stated above this Jeep will be sold AS IS WHERE IS with no warranty stated or implied.
