Up for bid is a beautiful Candy Blue 1969 Honda CT70 With a TitleBuild Date of 11-69 Vin# CT70-129478 & Engine# CT70E-129143Rare Silver Tag Seat Pan , Horn & Speedo Now about the bike. I will do my best to describe it but being human can be subject to error. Please look at all the pictures I have provided and ask any questions you might have before placing a bid. First I will start with what I changed. I replaced the battery and the fork boots with new Honda OEM boots because one of the old ones was torn. The bike starts up drives straight, shifts good. The horn, high and low beam, brake light, and speedo lights work as intended. The paint is very nice still but does have its flaws such as scratches and chips. The decals are peeling a bit but still look respectable. The headlight bucket is intact free of any of the usual cracks. The fuel lines appear to be originals and currently don't leak. If I was going to ride the bike around I might want to change them. The handlebars are straight with the exception of the right bar being very slightly bent. The chrome is in great shape for its age and clean. It does have the normal patina or dusty look you get over time. I did hit the triple clamp, points cover and cam chain cover with Mothers polish to clean them up. The seat pan is in great condition and is one of the very rare Silver Tag pans with the bolt on tool pouch holder. The seat is still nice but does have some small rips you can see in the pictures. I believe the small rips didn't warrant replacing the seat cover and taking away from the originality of the bike.The speedo is the rare Silver Tag speedo with the red cloth high beam indicator. The horn is also the rare Silver Tag horn with the black backing and the front screws. The bike comes with a title from the 1970's and is currently out of the DMV system since it hasn't been registered since 1983. You will also receive 1 Key and the original tool kit. Another cool feature is the original California Black License plate. If you live in California you will know the value of this and the rarity to find one in this condition on a motorcycle.
