Up for sale is a 1981 Honda gl1100. New spark plugs, exhaust pipe to cylinder head gaskets, battery, coolant, cam belt, final drive oil, fork oil, new mirrors, brake fluid, fuel lines, fuel filter. The bike has a new front master cylinder and new front stainless steel braided brake lines. Both front calipers have been rebuilt so the bike stops in a hurry. 58k miles. A replacement Honda radio was unobtainable ( One that works anyway ) and the radio has been replaced by an inexpensive aftermarket unit. It actually sounds amazingly good for what it is.The three pin connector from alternator to wiring harness has been replaced. A terrible weak spot on these bikesThe bike has been thru 3 oil and filter changes since being purchased. Currently it is full of 20/50 Valvoline motorcycle oil. All dead parts available for inspection. Seat cover has one or two very small cracks.There is a small amount of smoke upon start up. This is common with these bikes.Additionally, the handlebars look to be slightly bent, but barely noticeable.The neutral light will intermittently fail to turn off when the bike is put into gear.The lowers were added after I took possession of the bike. Although they are also black, they don't match very well. The tires are old but still have a lot of tread left. That being said I would suggest replacing them sooner rather than later for safety sake. Old tires tend to dry out and grip poorly and wear rapidly, my favorite inexpensive brand is Kenda.Bike is sold without any warranties either expressed or implied.Bike is currently full of non ethanol marine gas.I will be more than happy to help your shipper load the bike.A helmet and jacket will be made available for a test ride when bike is picked up.Georgia's DMV does not require titles for motorcycles this old. Ownership will be transferred with a bill of sale.
