VERY RARE TRUE SUPER SPORT 138 1968 CHEVELLE CONVERTIBLE. This is a very straight and solid project car that i have owned for years and dont have the time to give it what it needs, a full restoration. The reason i bought this car was because it was a true super sport and because it was the cleanest convertible project car i could find. it has had quarters hung that arent bad but may need some touch up and it has patches in the floor and trunk pan. the frame and cowl and firewall are all spotless on this car which is hard to find in a convertible. i have collected many parts for this car over the years that i have owned it which i am including with the car. this includes the bucket seats for the car which the car had originally, driver quality bumpers for the front and rear, the very clean dash cluster and assembly which is pictured along with the interior harness to match, complete grille and headlight bezels, a 7 piece trunk pan assembly brand new in the box, the original 12 bolt rear end for the car was replaced with a 10 bolt posi before i purchased the car so i purchased a 12 bolt for the car that i will include and is pictured, a brand new convertible top mechanism that is all new and complete with a glass window, and many other small pieces that are hard to find for these cars. This is a true 138 super sport convertible that i have a clear green michigan title for the cowl tag is missing however and wasnt there when i bought the car but i planned on buying one to my build specifications through trimtags.com. If the winning bidder wants me to order the cowl tag i can and have it installed before pick up.
