I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID! 1978 Chevrolet (Chevy) Big Block Silverado 1500 454, short wheel base and short bed with approximately 83,303 miles. Automatic and inspected till 8/14. This truck is a Limited Edition 1 out of 500 by Hop-Cap Inc. This baby start, runs and drives! This would be a great project for someone! The truck has been lowered at least 4 inches...great Rat Rod or Garage truck! I will list anything and EVERYTHING even if minor that I know about this truck. Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette Radio and Pioneer Equalizer, power windows which do work, CB , 4 speakers behind the seat, all lights work and the wipers work. The CB, Radio and speakers we were told do work and were showed they do work, but as of today they are not working, not sure if it is just a fuse...I am not a mechanic. This is an original Big Block 454 truck. The transmission is a turbo 400, 3 speed Automatic. The transmission was recently rebuilt by a very local reputable transmission, engine repair company. The transmission shifts properly. While the transmission was being replaced they also installed a new Stall Torque Converter. The 2 front tires are Goodyear PT215/75/R15 and the 2 back tires are 295/50/R15. The wheels could use some TLC. New dual exhaust system. The driver's side door is out of adjustment. It does close and close tightly, but you have to shut it pretty hard in order to do so. There is rust under both doors, which are shown in the photo. Both rocker panels have been replaced but not by a professional. Both front cab mount supports should be replaced, however the truck did pass PA inspection and has a good current sticker. The only rust through spot is in the bed of the pick up, which is indicated in the photo. There is no body putty anywhere on the truck with the exception where someone replaced the rocker panels.
