Up for auction is a one family owned 1982 Lincoln Mark VI. My grandfather bought this new for $17,000 in 1982. My uncle took ownership in the 90's, and I've had it for a few years. It has 87,XXX original miles. I have all the original paperwork to go with the car, including the cancelled check! The good: This car runs, drives, and stops great. I've driven it quite a bit and it rides wonderfully. If you're looking for a cheap, nice cruiser this is it. New battery, water pump, belts, oil change, air cleaner, cat back exhaust, and cap and rotor within the past year. Fire it up and drive it anywhere. Tires are old, but have good tread. Brakes are good. The body is in excellent condition! The only areas of rust are on the trunk lid. The outer lower edges rusted a bit. I sanded them down and painted them. The inside upper lip has some starting of rust, but not horrible. The underside of this car is almost spotless. The top is in fair shape and is showing some checkering, but looks good from 5 feet away. The all the power seats work well. Comes with a Midland vintage CB and it works! The headlights work perfectly on auto or manual. The clock, cruise, and all lights work. There are no water or fluid leaks at all. The paint is in good shape and shines up really nicely. All the chrome is in average shape. This car has never been hit or repaired. The not so good: The LR door is stuck closed. My uncle attempted a repair on the latch and it locked tight. The driver's seat has worn through and is cracked. The power antenna switch broke, so the power antenna is stuck up. The driver's window could use repair. It will go down and up with help only, all the other windows work fine. The AC does not blow cold, but the heat and doors work fine. The radio does work, but the sound sucks. This is a fairly priced car. It will come with a full set of manuals and some extra parts like complete front calipers, oil filters, belts, an extra CB, and a few other misc parts. It looks good.
