Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE New Battery, Cellinoid, and Fuel Sending Unit Replaced this Week, also Registration and Inspection(did this morning) Current !I have a Great 1977 Mercury Monarch 'Ghia" Opera Coupe that I bought for my son's 16th birthday, and basically is just too much car for him. Therefore I must sell it to buy him one that is more 'recent'. Trust me if there was a way to keep it I would. This car had less than 50,000 original miles and when you see it you will believe it, even though I have not been able to verify it except with the previous owner. This car is in excellent original condition. The bumpers for instance look like the car just came off the Showroom floor....no 'pits', no rust. As a matter of fact there is no rust anywhere except maybe for a few very small surface spots on the body ! The body is straight as an arrow. The paint is blemished in places and a few nicks and small dents here and there(its almost 40 years old!)..if you repaint you will have doubled its value. Rocker Panels are in great shape..NO RUST! Also two or three small dents, one over the drivers side wheel well, on the hood, and by the right rear wheel well(hey its over 40 years old !)It could probably use a good polishing or if you wish a new paint job that would make it a real beauty. You will see a photo of a Ghia Emblem included with the rest. This Emblem is attached to the inside of the small 'Opera' window in the back. There is another one on the outside of the window that is weathered a bit, the inside emblem is inlike-new' condition of the inside one.; I do have two new emblems that I will include that you can put anywhere you wish. The interior is almost perfect except there is a bit of sun damage to the dash....no cracks or broken pieces. Now the best part...this car runs great. It is equipped with basically Mustang running gear,,'302; V-8, auto trans, factory a/c(cold), dual exhaust, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Mustang Chrome wheels, tight front end and it really goes !!...its ready for you to pick up and drive anywhere !...and yes it was purchased on the west(Arizona I think, by an older grand ma for her grand son ???? I also will include a Repair Manuel for this car. I am partially disabled, a Veteran, and a single dad... ..................SELLER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO END THIS LISTING AT ANY TIME Regardless of your opinion of the neoclassic automotive styling so prevalent in the seventies, you’ll probably agree there were a few platforms that wore this throw- back styling with panache. I believe this car carries that panache, and may represent the peak of the neoclassic movement (Monte Carlo and Grand Prix fans will certainly disagree, but so be it). Between the tall grill and single headlights designed to recall cars of the classic era, and sharp body line creases harking back to custom coach work, this Mercury includes all the elements of the neoclassic look.
