I'm relisting this Mercedes once again because I've been had by the same spoofbidder not once, but twice. Once the auction ended eBay sent me that automated email with the information of the buyer last name "Pavlick" and the first time "Paulick." Of course there is no responds from the winning bidder. Any of you, if you're selling a Mercedes on ebay like this one, watch who places bids on your listings "Smallenginesareus" and "Pavli_debr" are one and the same person and he will NOT pay you, even if he says a check is in the mail. He will use excuses such as "My wife bid using my eBay account." or "a death in the family," or "I've been in an accident and hospitalized, the check is in my safe." He'll even mark payment as "sent" but not pay or respond to any email, or unpaid item dispute. Don't let him draw you in with his religious spin either, cause he is deluded hypocrite with no intentions of paying or buying. He'll ask for payment instructions or to send him a paypal money request for the full amount or, down payment, but he will just completely disregard paypal money requests and reminders. Spoof bidder like this fellow are the ultimate downfall of ebay. I lost an entire month of listing time, during which I could have sold the car to an honest buyer. Yes I fell for his stories when I first listed the car and I gave the buyer a few more days. I waited and waited, then got the accident story. Meanwhile he kept busy bidding on my other car listings using different ebay accounts. Anyway, enough rant. Original post after 1st relist:This SD is being relisted cause 12 days after the auction ended, and after a 12 day goose chase to connect with the winning bidder I was told that the funds were not mailed due to a sudden car accident and hospitalization . Aggravating is when this kind of stuff happens with a cheap car listing. So PLEASE folks, have funds secured before placing bids on any of my vehicle listings!!! Up for auction is a 1980 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel. Please look at all the photos, Runs and drives pretty nice, vacuum door locks work, but this SD needs work or can be used as a donor. I added a bunch of undercarriage photos to the photobucket. Please look at all of them. Also, All the windows work, also the heater blower works, but only in defrost which confirms a vacuum leak causing the blower to only work in default. Defrost is the default and it bypasses the vacuum system. The floor boards itself are NOT rusted!!! However the corners of the rear rockers, inside the fender wells are rusted through. Also a big indentation in the right front rocker panel. Needs a battery to drive!!!! Windshield wipers are NOT working and it is not the fuse. The rear windows also work, but have a judder sound upon closing, meaning the window regulators have teeth sheered off. However they do close all the way before making that sound!! We purchased the 300SD from the son of a customer. The owner had passed away 3 years ago and the son brought the SD to us for purchase. We have worked on the car a few times some 5 years ago. The SD runs and drives and it runs pretty darn good. The battery is dead but we keep those in stock should you decide to drive her home. The SD is not perfect if you look at the photos. There is rust everywhere around the lower panels. There is also accident damage to the front of the car from somebody backing into it. I have a spare hood I will include in this auction. The left rear tail light is busted but a used replacement is already in the trunk. The vacuum door locks work!!! Starts on the dime, runs and drives great. New injector leak lines Sunroof is NOT working, rear window needs new gasket and chrome, runs all over the car in various spots If I get a reasonable offer before the auction ends I will cancel all bids and sell the car.
