This is the Durant White Star 1923 Touring Car.Four door. Current owner located in Shelbina, Missouri has owned this car since 1977. He has been using this car as a parade car since its purchase. It is a 4 cylinder with the gasoline vacuum pump (Stewart Warner). Electric start. Rubber good on wooden spoked wheels. Spare tire is good rubber and has not been used. There is one small fender weld and we see only one tiny nickel sized hole in one panel. There is paint wear. The side boards and floor boards are wooden and original. Steering wheel can be flipped up. Two bi-folding windshields work. The retractable top was restored by a local upholstering firm about 13 years ago. The car easily starts and runs well. The owner has never touched the motor. The original makers plate is attached to motor and shown in photo. The interior upholstery needs to be restored. It is original. Doors open and close freely. The radiator has a thermometer indicator at the top so the driver can easily monitor if the motor is over heating. Winning bidder will need to make arrangements to pick up the vehicle. This car has always been kept in a well built garage. Interested bidders can access the owner's cell phone by asking me as owner is agreeable to answering any questions. This owner owned the local Case Implement dealership for many years and is quite knowledgeable. Note: no speedometer mileage on vehicle is unknown.
