Available for sale for the very first time is this extremely rare find........THIS car is the real deal, a true find, a needle in a haystack!!!!!! This is a 1-owner 1976 Datsun 280Z 2+2. It has always been garaged since it was brand new. It is owned by a retired Lt Colonel from the Army. The owner was extremely anal about the car and has maintained it extremely well. The interior is nearly perfect. The ORIGINAL dash is perfect with NO cracks (unbelievable!) The seats are perfect and have always had these German Sheep skin seat covers on them protecting them)! The exterior has ZERO rust on it! The frame has ZERO rust on it! The frame rails have NEVER been touched or welded on! The engine is 100% stock! The engine runs perfectly like the day it was purchased! The engine, transmission, and differential have ZERO leaks! The A/C works 100% like the day she was born. Nothing has ever been replaced. The steering wheel has always had a wrap on it. The rear seats have never been sat on. The original emblems are all there and look almost new. The exhaust muffler was replaced 20 years ago and has a lifetime warranty on it and the warranty is still in tact. The entire car is 100% stock (accept the struts were replaced with KYB's) The car was re-painted about 12 years ago and is not perfect but still looks gorgeous. However it is the ORIGINAL and very rare British Racing Green color from the factory. The bumper extensions are all there but a couple have some signs of age. This is common for this year Z. There are some bumper stickers on the car from when he had to go on and off the military bases. All of the glass is perfect and has ZERO signs of age or cloudiness! (this is very common with a 40 year old car) The fuel pump was replaced a year ago The radiator was just replaced last month The car had a tune up about 2 years ago. The 5-spd trans shifts perfectly and the Clutch, master cylinder, and slave cylinder are all brand new. We just installed them! We also installed the new leather shift boot and lower rubber boot along with new shifter bushings. The car comes with: ALL of the service records for everything that has ever been done to the vehicle. It comes with the original Owner manual it comes with the original warranty booklet it comes with the customer's note pad for EVERYTHING he ever did to the car along with mileage notes. Lastly..... The car comes with the ORIGINAL FACTORY WINDOW STICKER from 1976. This car is a really nice driver too. Starts up the first crank, idles smoothly, and accelerates like new.
