Vehicle Detail
Second owner of this beautiful 1995 Mazda MX-5 M Edition with 110,755 miles on the clock. I purchased the vehicle about two years ago from an Indiana dealership and have loved it ever since. The car has retained most of its stock appearance, such as the standard factory seats, mats, BBS 15" wheels, tonneau cover, ABS anti-lock brakes, CD player, radio, power windows, antenna, A/C all work as they should. This specific vehicle is equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission. The timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, fuel filter, clutch slave cylinder, CAS o-ring seal, plug wires and spark plugs have all been replaced with documentation. New (less than 10k) 195/50/15 tires are currently on the car. The engine compartment has been left completely stock. What has been changed from factory spec is as listed: The original soft top has been completely removed and the car has since been fitted with an OEM factory paint A1Q hard top which is included in this auction. The hardtop is wonderful at increasing rigidity, reducing cabin noise, and adding a level of security to the valuables inside your car. The vehicle includes the front and rear pieces of the r-spec package. A Hard Dog Double Diagonal Hardtop M1 rollbar has since been fitted for roll over protection. The suspension has been changed with Stance Super-Sport+ 15-way dampening adjustable coilovers for a firmer ride. Also pictured and included will be the Project-G bikini top. This vehicle has served as a perfect weekend driver, and has the ability to become a great auto-x or track day car if you so desire. As you can see from the photos, the car is in overall great shape for a 19 year old vehicle.. The previous owner treated this car with great care but at the same time enjoyed it by driving it. The same level of care has passed down in my years of owning this vehicle. I have tried my best to include the small defects that I've seen, and I'll describe some here: there are two scratches near the driver side quarter panel and one on the right of the trunk, the front of the bumper has a small ding, and the front of the r-spec package has lost some paint due to rock chips. The hood has had some hail dings from the day I bought it. The driver side seat has had the tear spot pictured from the day I purchased the vehicle. These minor cosmetic issues haven't bothered me and are relatively simple fixes. The vehicle has a clear title and has never been in an accident, flood, etc. It was a summer vehicle and has only seen one Illinois winter. Overall, the car is a blast to drive, and I hope that you will be able to enjoy the vehicle as much as I have over the years! The buyer is responsible for the pick up or shipping of the vehicle. I'll be more than glad to assist in any way that I can.
