Up for bids is my 2004 3 rotor Rx-8.I have owned this car since Nov of 04.I bought it used with 4,000 miles.I have a clear title in hand.Never been smoked in.Its never been in an accident but i did hit a curb with the left front wheel and filed a claim against my insurance as a single car accident.The paint is all original.There are no door dings or dents and very few rock chips.The front fenders,hood and front bumper were painted when i installed the bumper in order for it to look the same color and then had a clear bra installed at Xpel,the leading edge of the hood and fenders were also done.Last week(4/18/14) i finished a complete rebuild/refresh of the engine before i send it off to its new owner.Also installed a new a/c condenser and the a/c is working great.The car is tuned to just 10 psi of boost and made 407 rwhp.I need to break in the engine before i put it back on the dyno and check the tune.At just 10 psi boost with the 430 rear end it brakes the tires loose in 1st,2nd and 3rd gear,so any more boost or power is useless with the 18 in tires.At 18 psi boost a 3 Rotor will make right at 600 rwhp and this engine and trans can support it.Why sell the car?I owned and operated Alamo Rotary here in San Antonio for about 20 years.I am now retired and no longer work on cars.In the past when customers wanted to see my work quality or what i could do,i would bring out the Rx-8.It was my advertisement and i no longer need it.I had my fun with it and now it must go.It also comes with a spare chrome wheel and the Mazda factory shop manual.I welcome any potential buyer to come and drive the car.I will be glad to pick up anyone at the San Antonio airport.I will list the car locally as well so i reserve the right to cancel this ad at any time.There are a few videos of the car on you tube(3 rotor rx-8 dyno, 3rotor rx-8 comp turbo t76)),but if you look for Tito's toys there is a recent video of the car,you can hear it start up and rev.For more detail pictures 3rotorrx-8.com(website goes with car).
