THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This is a really clean and well cared for “barn find” 1976 model Honda CB360T twin, arguably one of the most popular bikes Honda ever built. Excellent condition. This bike was completely gone through by a motorcycle mechanic with 45 years experience. Since it had sat for so long, the top end was pulled and honed and new rings were installed. Excellent compression and it will need a slight break in to get everything to bed in. Bike starts immediately, idles and carburates great, runs strong. Shifts through all gears well. Easy to maintain with points and valves that don’t require any fancy tools to adjust! Brakes, clutch and transmission all work great. The following are new: spark plugs, battery, drivechain, oil, and front tire (rear tire still has lots of life left). This bike is straight and solid, no road rash. No leaks (it’s a HONDA!). Always stored indoors to our knowledge, never abused. All instruments and lighting work! Odometer shows just 7,925 miles. Gas tank has one very small dent on the right side (see photos) and a little oxidation on the top (a good body person could probably rub it out, hit it all with some clearcoat and it would look GREAT) but VERY clean inside! To our knowledge, the only “fly in the ointment” is that the mufflers have a few small rust holes in the bottom (repro mufflers are available) but it doesn’t seem to affect the performance. In reality, all the internals of the pipes are still there and it actually sounds quite fine, not loud at all. Chrome is good and all the plastic body sidecover tabs are intact. We try to accurately describe the shortcomings, but look at the photos and ask questions before bidding. Don’t bid if you intend to negotiate afterward; that is not how eBay works. This bike has a clear California title, bike has been registered “Non Operation” since 2007 while it was in storage to keep from paying any fees (since it wasn’t on the road). Former owner parked it to deal with an electrical issue and “never got to it”. All electrical items now work. Fuel system and carbs were totally cleaned and rebuilt. Air filter, cables, brake fluid were also serviced. We are also including a seat cover that someone can install if they want a more stock look (the current cover is still in good condition). Just want to clarify both function fine and the bike starts very easily. Also note this is a great beginner's bike, easy to maintain, easy to put both feet on the ground at a stop.
