1952 INTERNATIONAL HARDVESTER WOODIE SCHOOL BUS L-122 W.B. 127 CHASSIS SEARIAL NUMBER 31476 MODEL : SD-220 SERIAL 176690 Owned by the original school that ordered two when new, "refreshed" for the headmaster upon his retirement then donated back to the school years later. Has been sitting for a long time but runs well, doesn't smoke, clutch and brakes work. Will need portions of wood body repainted and replaced, front floors, old paint is okay but no noticeable rust in the body. Grill is in great condition. New dppr frames, steel body in great shape no rust, frame great no rust. I have started it every few months. Idels like a clock, rebuilt carb. This is a 3/4 ton truck with syncro 3 speed on the tree and great diff gearing. This woodie is original down to the correct front and rear seats, fire extinguisher, dash fan, visors, tailgate locks and latches , glass, all instruments and running gear. It really is as orginal a base as you could hope for. Just what to expect when it hasen't gone thru lots of owners over the years. The slats in the roof are straight and strong. Be prepared to take on some woodwork (including new tailgate). I also have the original build sheet (copy). Silver Diamond 220 engine is original as well as the rest of running gear. Recently purchased (4) correct hubcaps that fit the truck (somewhat rare and expensive due to larger axel hubs) Also included is another set of restored grill bars, hood emblems etc.. TRUCK WAS IN CALIFORNIA FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS. CURRENTLY STORED INSIDE HEATED WAREHOUSE NEAR CHICAGO
