Up for bid is my Chevy Blazer that I bought in 2002. I am the second owner. I have drove this SUV to work almost 100 mile round trip 5 days a week and it has been very good to me other than regular maintenance stuff. There is 171,000 miles on it. Currently, I am smelling radiator coolant through the vent at times which leads me to believe that the heater core is on its way out. I just bought a car for better gas mileage so I am not going to have this repaired. I believe it would cost $400-$600 to have a dealer fix it because you have to take apart the dash to get at it. If you have the time you could fix it yourself. I took good mechanical care of this suv but didn't wash or wax often. It has a few bumps and bruises, there is a rust spot on the back door, and the ceiling cloth inside droops a little. Tires have about half tread left. I usually replace brake pads over 30k miles so it will be needing pads up front. Rear pads are good. All rotors are good. The only dash light that stays on is the anti-brake light because I pulled the fuse since I dont like ABS brakes. I still have the fuse but I haven't run the ABS system since I bought the Blazer in 2002. Air conditioning is cold, heat works, all gauges and lights work, 4 wheel drive works, cruise control works. Overall, this Blazer has ran good for me over the years. I took good care of it mechanically and never took it off-road 4 wheeling.
