(972) 203-0767 Established and trusted ebaY Motors Classic Car Seller since 1999. 1955 Ford Fairlane Two-Door Sedan with Factory Overdrive Please take a moment to view the Slideshow presentation below.......Fast440 is pleased to offer this very presentable 1955 Ford Fairlane Two-Door Sedan with strong mechanics and great Boulevard Cruising looks. Restored as needed on this Texas Solid example, and very recent Clear-Coat Paintwork that has been final-stage sanded and buffed. Straight Body Panels when looking down both sides of the car, and Exterior Trim Items are a combination of replaced, restored, re-chromed and well preserved original. The Interior has been re-done and this includes painted surfaces repainted and Upholstery replacement. The Trunk area has been redone, and looks very clean. Spare Tire not shown is included in the sale. The car tracks straight and the Brakes well as recent repairs were performed in these areas. Clutch engages well, the Manual Column Shifts smoothly and the Overdrive works as it should. The engine was rebuilt at some point, runs and sounds strong, and does not smoke. Starts everytime and the Generator System charges.The Undercarriage is un-touched since new with one patched area the Passenger-Side Front Pan (likely caused by a leaking Heater Core at some point in the car's life). Solid Floor Pans except where previously mentioned; Trunk Pan, Rocker Panels and Body Brackets are solid as well, and the Frame shows no evidence of corrosion.The car has It's original Wiring Harness, so Underdash Electricals will need to be sorted out. Hair Line crack on the Passenger-Side Glass, and the Emergency Brake does not function. these are issues we have noted. Lot's of money already spent and in need of your final touches.
