This is one of about 490 Wagonaires built with a V8 in 1966. This one has the sliding roof... most didn't. The engine has had a new oil pump installed, fuel pump, main and rod bearings, new seals, water pump, NOS carburetor base, NOS air cleaner, fan clutch, battery, new belts and hoses, new modern Delco Remy alternator installed, and petronix distributor conversion. The brake booster was rebuilt. Turner brakes were installed. The rear bearings have been serviced. The trans fluid has been replaced with type F. The factory A\C has been converted to R 134 and blows cold. The tires are only 3 years old and have about 3K on them. The radiator has been recored. The runs and drives excellent. The car has power steering, power disc brakes, power rear window, auto trans, twin trac rear end with a 3:31, sliding roof, and AM radio. All factory accessories. The seat covers are NOS, new carpet and kick panels, NOS wide door sill plates, NOS sliding roof seal installed ( cleaned and lub'd entire assembly) , new original type windlace installed, the padded dash is like new, the dome light works, all gauges work, radio works ( FM converter is NOT included with the car), and the car has factory seat belts (front & rear), NOS bumpers, tail lights, rearview mirror, backup lights, hubcaps, all fender and tailgate badges, front grills and headlight bezels. The car won a First Place at the Upper Mississippi Regional Studebaker Meet in St Louis last month. A $500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auctions end. The battery was purchased this year and the new Gabriel gas shocks were installed last summer. I do have the build sheet and that goes with the car. The car was a Kansas car all its life. Originally delivered to Bevan Motor Co. in Hutchinson, KS in Feb 1966. This car was built 6 weeks from the end of production which I think was 18Mar66. I am the 3rd owner of the car since 1974 and the 2nd owner owned it for 2 yrs.
