THIS IS A NO RESERVE LISTING. This is my 1984.5 Ford Mustang GT350 Convertible with only 75,218 original miles. This is an original, unmolested example of a rare and special collectible Mustang. Only 670 GT350 Convertibles with the automatic transmission were built. This is an important collector's car- the GT350 models were the 20th Anniversary Mustangs built by Ford, all of them in March of 1984. These GT350s have become a landmark part of Mustang history. First due to the low production numbers and secondly because Carroll Shelby sued Ford for the use of the name "GT350" and Ford had to stop producing them. Therefore this is a very rare and significant car in the history of Mustangs. The GT350 package was synonymous with the 20th Anniversary Package- all 20th Anniversary cars are GT350s. GT350 models were based on the Mustang GT package. All were Oxford White with Canyon Red interiors, articulated sport seats and GT350 stripe/decal packages. Several of these cars are in museums and important Ford collections around the country. These cars do not come up for sale often. This car has just come out of one of the largest collections of vintage Fords in the country. This collection is extremely private and exclusive, and consists of several hundred of the most important and significant Ford models from the 1920s to present. I have made arrangements to buy this car out of this collection and it is a true collector's gem. This car, as one of hundreds in the collection, has been stored in an air-conditioned and heated building, while being driven occasionally and regularly maintained, serviced and exercised by a mechanic who goes through the collection of cars one by one on a full-time basis. The car has been kept as a part of the R**** collection, but it has never been allowed to just "sit"- it has always been serviced and looked after. This car starts, runs and drives perfectly. The car is quiet, powerful, smooth and it handles and drives like a dream. This car starts and idles perfectly, and it runs beautifully, handles sharply, stops well, etc. I would trust this car to drive anywhere. The paint and body are in very good condition. The paint is Oxford White (9L) in color. The convertible top is original and in very good condition. The power top operates properly up and down. There is no body rust, nor any exterior defects of any significance. The wheels are the original aluminum-alloy sport metric wheels in excellent condition. The tires are Michelins with full tread. The interior is all original and in beautiful shape. You could not hope to find a 1984 interior in better condition. The seats are still firm and comfortable, and the carpets, upholstery and vinyl are excellent. The seat fabric is still bright red and isn't worn or faded and shows no sign of wear. The dashboard is not even slightly cracked. This interior is truly in exceptional original condition. It looks just as it did when it was made in 1984. The underside of this car is exactly what you'd expect- clean, pristine and gorgeous. This car is a very rare find- it is very collectible and will only appreciate in value. The car was literally pulled out of hiding, and brought out to be enjoyed by the next owner. I cannot imagine you will find a nicer quality GT350 convertible for sale anywhere.
