1970 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Pickup Complete Bed-Off/Cab-Off restoration on an exceptionally solid California/Texas example; Factory Original in mind. Fast440 is pleased to offer this already well preserved and Low Mileage example 1970 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup that has recently received a complete Frame-Off restoration. Attention to detail, and Factory original shows everywhere on this example. This is a totally disassembled and rebuilt California Stepside that has approximately 87,424 miles on it, and this is believed to be original. It even has the original exhaust system. No body panels had to be replaced. A new heater core was replaced as was the battery tray, and the small panel beneath the heater. The only modification to the truck is the addition of a front sway bar. New lights, all glass rubber including the door tracks, front and rear glass, weather stripping, and cab and bed mounts were replaced. The interior dooran insert (Tan in color) paint is original. The interior of the cab has been insulated with Hush Mat. The wheels have been sandblasted and sealed with a semi-black finish. The instruments have also been rebuilt. These all original trucks are a good investment and continue to increase in value. It is a 250 C.I.D. Inline-Six joined to a 3-Speed Manual column shift. This truck can continue to be shown in shows, or it has the foundation to build a modified truck without having to worry about rust or anything needing attention under the truck. It also has the Heavy-Duty 12-Bolt Rear differential. This is the original color of the truck. It was disassembled and painted this year. I also have the original build sheet from the California Plant to verify this description. NO RUST – NO BONDO. An absolute pleasure to drive in It's simple and no frills glory.
