Just traded for this old girl, its a 1948 Dodge B1D1. Paint is satin black, not too old. Has a new wood bed, new battery, new points and plugs, new taillights. Truck has the original flat head straight six cylinder and a four speed transmission. Motor runs like a charm, needs rear tires the ones on the truck are old with flat spots. also needs some rear brake work. Windshield has a crack on the driver side, its an easy fix since the glass is flat. This is the pilot house version with the cab corner windows, all windows in the rear of the cab are Lexan, I have the original glass windows and it will go with the truck when sold. Truck has been lowered 4 inches on all four corners, also have extra springs if you want to raise the truck back up a little. This is a cool old ride, would make a great weekend cruiser. How many one ton rat rods do you see at your local cruise ins. I have driven this truck, it drives good for its age. Rear tires just bounce you around a bit, if it had some new radials on the rear it should drive like a new one, clear TN title in hand, truck needs a few odds and ends to be finished but is a great headstart on a nice hot rod. You need to bring a way to haul it, I don't recommend driving it just yet....Truck is for sale local so I have the right to end the auction at any time.
