Vehicle Detail

Hi, I am the owner of this Eleanor Clone. Please do not bid unless you have contacted me first. I have invested well over $115,000 into this beautiful car. Please free to contact me about seeing the car. I know it's a lot of money but I will not let you test drive the car due to winter conditions here in Pennsylvania. They have put sinders on the road which tend to chip paint. My cell number is 717-926-0263. Serious calls only. If you are interested only in hearing the sweet sound of a 427w in the car of your dreams, keep dreaming. :) I had hoped to be able to keep this vehicle but my current financial situation will not allow this. Jul, 2010 There is never a dull moment at our service department! This month, the guys over at CJ Pony Service have been putting in a ton of hours finishing a 1967 Eleanor clone. Built from the ground up, this customer’s dream-car has been using CJ Pony Parts exclusively for all the parts and labor. Its not cheap to make yourself an Eleanor, but I think you can agree… the finished product is WELL worth the money spent! Most customers come in with their used early model Mustang, looking to give it a face-lift and restore the car’s original beauty. Some even decide to upgrade to a nicer model by adding a bigger engine block, aftermarket upgrades or custom paint jobs. This time, a customer decided to turn his recently purchased 1967 fastback into a coveted Eleanor clone. Too bad the Mustang couldn’t be upgraded… After getting his new fastback inspected, our customer realized that his newly acquired pony-car was not even worth working on. Did this stop him from getting his Eleanor? NO! CJ Pony Parts and CJ Pony Service had everything he needed to make this happen; With or without his 1967 rust-bucket. Starting with a fresh, new Dynacorn 1967 fastback Mustang body, this project would be perfect right from the beginning. Add to that an Eleanor body kit, a new 6-speed manual transmission, a Rod & Custom front end, a 427 stroked small block engine, mass flow fuel injection, a nitrous kit and every other part required to create this masterpiece, and you have yourself one mean Mustang! Next up for this Eleanor project is the interior. So far, they have in Scat Pro Car seats and a JME/Autometer instrument cluster. Our service department is proud of the work they have put into this iconic Mustang model, and so are we! What do you think of her?CJ Pony Service Eleanor is ALIVE! The Eleanor project over at CJ Pony Service is on a roll, literally! About two weeks ago, we posted a story about CJ Pony Service creating a 1967 Eleanor from a Dynacorn body shell and all-new parts. This week, they are proud to have this movie-inspired Mustang clone up and running! Our service department has added a new exhaust system to the Eleanor, as the finishing touch before firing up the engine. The exhaust system included new BBK Fox-Body 351W swap headers, a matching BBK off-road H-pipe, a Stainless Works side exhaust kit and a custom-made transmission mount. MAC flow tubes were used to connect the side exhaust kit to the H-pipe. Once the exhaust was done, our technicians checked the engine wiring and mounted the battery before firing up the engine. Eleanor came to life on the first try and settled into a nice idle with no adjustments needed! Keep looking out for more updates on this project. Our Eleanor being built from a Dynacorn shell is getting its NOS system installed this week. They are even installing the famous “Go Baby Go” button inside the car.UPDATE: CJ Pony Service Eleanor Mustang gets new interior Published by Matt on August 25th, 2010 One of our favorite projects over at CJ Pony Service is getting closer to completion. This week, Eleanor has a brand new interior and is soon ready to “Go Baby Go” out on the open road! There are still plenty of hours to put into this movie Mustang replica, but it is great to see a plan come together. The custom style center console looks great with the movie style add-ons and some aftermarket extras. The nitrous system was installed last week, so this week our service department got all of the internal parts wired up and installed. Here you can see the famous “Go Baby Go” button on the shift knob that lets you engage all of that nitrousy goodness. Some aftermarket Autometer gauges were also added to monitor the voltage and nitrous pressure. Good call. The door panels also turned out to be a very cool addition. The power window switches had to be moved to the center console due to the speaker placement. Even more sound will come out of the aftermarket system thanks to these quarter window speaker panels. The back seat and fold down is almost complete. You can get a good view of the battery relocation in the trunk. Overall, the interior came out quite well. The aftermarket Procar seats by Scat really look great with the rest of the interior. We will keep you up-to-date with Eleanor as she makes her way through the rest of the build over at CJ Pony Service.CJ Pony Service completes their Eleanor project! Published by Matt on November 4th, 2010 If you are a fan of CJ Pony Parts or CJ Pony Service, the you have probably heard news of the Eleanor Mustang clone that our service department has been working on for the last couple months. It was a long process, starting from a brand new Dynacorn fastback shell, but this legend born from the classic car movie Gone in 60 Seconds is a shining example of the great work CJ Pony Service can do. Two weeks back, the proud new owner of this iconic Mustang came in to pick up his new toy, so our photographer did a mini photo shoot to capture all the great work and the classic beauty of the car. The customer was with CJ Pony Service along the entire project, making decisions on custom interior and under hood items. This car got only the best of everything. Some of the feature pieces include: -Scat Pro Car seats -Rod & Custom front end -6-speed manual transmission -Brand new custom side-exhaust system -Trunk installed working NOS system -”Go-Baby-Go” custom shift knob -Custom speaker door panels -Speaker quarter window panels We hope our customer has as much fun in this amazing Mustang as we did building it and blogging about it.CJ’s has a replica Eleanor Mustang for sale!
