This is a 1946 Dodge ½ ton model WC pickup project. The model (first 5 photos) shows what the truck will look like when it is reassembled. The truck was originally bought by the Kentucky Electric Company, then sold to an employee when they were going to replace it. The employee drove it back and forth to work for approximately 2 weeks before he passed away then it sat in his garage until his widow passed away and it and it was sold to settle the estate. I have owned it for the last 40 years. A few years ago the front fenders needed to be redone, so I took the fenders off to be redone. While they were off I decided that after all the years the valves probably needed to be checked. So I took the head off to have the valves ground, next thing you know I was overhauling the motor (new piston/rings/bearings/etc.). When that was done things continued until the next thing you know the truck was down to the frame. The frame has been painted, engine rebuilt, everything was repainted except the bed. Everything (all body parts, interior, hubcaps, etc.) is there just needs to be reassembled. The truck is repainted the original red with black fenders. Everything is original with the exception that it has been switched from 6-volt to 12-volt (I still have all the 6-volt parts). The truck was running and driving fine before disassembled. Has a clear Ohio title. I am retired and want to travel and lost interest. Email me with any questions.
