Up for auction is a 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit (Diesel). The engine has 222,000 and runs well. I purchased it at an estate sale, and they had it running for about 5 to 6 hrs as the auction was in progress. The body & interior is rough (as seen in pics). It is a manual transmission. Not sure if it is a good or bad trans. It has been stored in a barn for a few years. It looks like the auctioneer or family member hot wired the car to get it running at the auction. The brakes are not working. This car would be a good parts car and it has a good running diesel engine. I believe the engine is a 1.8L, non-turbo. Please email me if you have any questions.
