Offered is a 1946 Packard Custom Super Clipper model 2106 Sedan. This is one of only 1472 Custom Clippers sold in 46, and has been a California car all its life, in storage in the dry central valley since the very early 1970s. The car is rock solid with no rust or rot evident, it is very very complete and untouched The engine is free but due to prolonged storage it has only been oiled and turned over by hand. The car needs a full restoration but would be an ideal easy restoration candidate, Hyman Ltd. has a restored 1947 example for sale at $46,500 and this is the rarer 1946 model. It has the original 500,000 series 356 straight eight and has overdrive but no electromatic. Upholstery is poor but intact, dash is complete, jeweled hubcaps present. The only missing parts I can determine are glove box liner and left front kick panel, the original cormorant option ornament has broken wings but it is included The car has no carpets. Overall a rare find in very solid condition with all the hard to find components and pieces, a full classic as determined by the CCCA and an ideal touring vehicle.
