Vehicle Detail
Simply put this car is the "ultimate driving machine"; it is a dream to drive! I have priced it well below book value for a quick sale because I have my eyes on a Porsche 911 Turbo I would like to buy this month. I purchased the car in CA on January 1st of this year and drove it across the country to GA. Since January I have put over 15K miles on it and have addressed all of the normal maintenance and preventative maintenance issues BMW recommends meaning you won’t have to. I am a BMW car club of America and PCA member; the modifications done to the car are with taste and as follows: The Good: Rare Factory BMW Color Combination "BMW-OXFORDGRUEN 2 METALLIC" Factory 19” BMW upgraded wheels Factory Harmon Kardon Sound System with upgraded HK trunk Subwoofer HID Xeon headlights and fog lights BMW Factory LED tail lights (most E46's don't come like this from the factory) Mechanically the car is a 10 out of 10 Interior is a 9 out of 10 Adjustable coilover suspension upgrade Replaced factory coils and spark plugs with Bavarian Auto Performance Coils and NGK Performance Plugs, Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter change (at 105K miles) New BMW factory clutch kit, differential bushings and Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter change (at 110K miles) New BMW factory alternator, new belt, Air Condition Freon recharge, Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter change (at 115K miles) No error codes, no check engine lights, everything works Carbon fiber engine cover Black front kidney grills Smaller "euro" rear FM antenna Dynamat lined trunk interior (sound proofing) Leather m3 shift and e-brake boots (have the original OEM suede ones too) Chrome shifter ECU Performance Flash Short Shift Kit Magnetic drain plug Silver interior trim (steering wheel, dash, doors, seats) Factory M3 trunk mat Factory alarm/keyless entry with 2 set of keys (one needs programming) Convertible top is only 1 year old (no leaks, and perfect rear glass) Website marketing vinyl can be easily removed off the windshield and side skirts I’m sure I am missing something (I have a stack of receipts, including the purchase of the car they add up to $20K+) The Bad: Car was in a rear accident, has a CA salvage history, but currently holds a GA rebuilt title The Ugly: Convertible top has pressure washer marks visible in the sun 1” ding on the bottom of the driver side door Paint work on the rear end is lacking (I’d give it a 7 out of 10) Front passenger fender has a 2” crack in the paint Few door dings and clear coat chips (not bad for a 10 year old car) The Photos
