This NO RESERVE auction is for very good restorable 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. Originally from dry eastern Colorado. White with the turquoise metallic interior. Very solid car with nice unibody and solid floors. Only rust through is around the rear wheel openings. Minor surface rust in trunk. There is a small dent in the front lower corner of each front fender (can be seen in the pictures). It has the 260 V8 engine with a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. It also has power steering. Missing the original front seat (originally a bench) but includes a pair of nice Mustang buckets. Has the original rear seat. Dash pad is cracked. Good glass except for the windshield, which has a 6" crack on the passenger side. The top material was in bad condition, so I removed it. The convertible top front header bar is in good condition with a couple of very repairable small rust holes. All of the top attaching parts are present including the rear trim sticks and side rail & header weatherstrips. The top mechanism is complete and it works fine. Presently not running due to over 10 years of inside storage but engine turns over fine. New 14" white letter tires with chrome wheels. Older repaint. Bumpers need rechromed. OK grille but missing the lower grille stone deflector. There are replacement moldings for the ones missing on the front fenders. Door tag reads as follows: VIN: 4H15F118452, Body: 764, Color: M, Trim: 67, Date: 23K, DSO: 72, Axle: 4, Transmission 3. The car will require a complete restoration but it is a great car to start with!! The buyer is responsible for the transportation of the vehicle.
