1987 Toyota MR2 5-SpeedI have for sale a 1987 Toyota MR2 5-speed with 155,000 miles. The car is all original and was purchased with the intent of completely restoring. However I have too many projects and this one has to go. First off the car will either need a new motor or have the current one rebuilt. I bought it with what I believe is a broken connecting rod. I was going to replace the motor with a turbocharged 3rd generation. The transmission shifts fine the car will start and run to verify. The interior of the car is all original and in normal shape for the year. The only rust in the car is pictured in the rear quarters. There is NO rust underneath. On Jul-24-12 at 18:07:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I must add that the drivers side window is broken out, in all fairness to potential bidders. I am sorry for not adding this outright it was an oversight on my part. The car has been stored in a garage since purchase and has had no extended exposure outdoors. I have found replacement glass at a local salvage yard for $30.00 and I will TRY to include the window with the car. I just felt it fair to post even though it is not a huge issue.
