Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1960 Rambler American 2 Door Wagon. Up Front: This is a project, it is in parts, needs to be finished. There is no title. This car was last registered in 1982. You will have to submit for lost title, use for parts, incorporate into your own build, you decide. Painted interior and exterior (painted less then two years ago, still have enough automotive paint to respray body or touch up, comes with it). Great glass. New door&hatch seals and some window seals (front & rear). New upholstery: Panels (extra material & Indian blanket seats). Chrome roof rack. New lenses and some new trim. Four floor pans welded in. New door locks & ignition. Carpet. New electric fan kit, turned rotors, new brakes, Packed new bearings, refreshed chevy 6 cylinder (seals, gaskets, flushed, oil pump, plugs, wires, etc.). Chevy Borg Warner T-5 Maual Trans. New Clutch & Resurfaced Flywheel (pictured). Trans & motor out of a '92 S10. New leaf spring bushings. motor mounts and trans mount installed. Started front suspension. Trans hump needs to be welded in, like I said, it's a project. You also get everything pictured, plus more parts I have in my own garage. Not pictured is: extra head lights, material for interior pannels (lots of it), misc trim and interior pieces (eblems, etc) and a few odds and ends. Lots of new parts, lots of extras, too many to list. No time, need money, must sell. Taking a loss on this one. Sold as is. It's in Everett, WA. You arrange pick up. Email me with your questions, Thanks -Dave ************************************************************************************************************************************** Suspension has been started but there is more to do. It has: a reinforced cross member, factory steering box, S10 knuckles, S10 Brakes, S10 tie rods. It needs: a shock & spring combo (Chevy Colorado will work best and be the least expensive, wrecking yard) & control arms. The factory rambler suspension was crap/crap condition so I tossed it when I committed to the Chevy route. The original rambler mounting points are still there, just no way to slap it back together without those parts. Needs time/work/a little money to get her rolling again and I'm short on all three, so it will have to go as is. It is able to tow, as is, out of state it should be taken in a trailer; I'll throw in the jack stands and help load. ********************************************************************************************************************************************* Originally listed as an automatic, that was an accident, it is a manual Chevy Borg Warner T-5 Manual, new Clutch & resurfaced flywheel ********************************************************************************************************************************************* I don't have the time to properly finish the front end and don't want to cobble something quickly together. Selling her as she is, unfinished. Happy to answer all questions, but I am unwilling to finish the front end. I will take paypal for an extra 3.5%, otherwise money orders or certified checks, personal check will need a week to clear. Prefer USPS Money Order
