1967 Buick Riviera

This is a 1967 Buick Riviera for restoration. It was running until it suffered a cracked cylinder head. It comes with a rebuildable 1970 455 that could be installed in place of the original 430, or you could use the 455 heads on the 430. The two motors are externally nearly identical and with the 430 valve covers on the 455 it's very hard to tell the difference. The body is mostly straight. There is some rust and filler in the rear quarters but it's not severe. There is a rust perforation on the right hand A pillar. The other body parts aren't very rusty, and the bumpers are good. The glass is good. The interior is very good with no rips or tears. One seam in the headliner should be re-stitched. Carpet and dash are good. Power windows work. The car comes with a new (rebuilt) steering box - the existing one is worn. The tires have less than 1000 km and are BF Goodrich Radial TA's, P245 50R15. The wheels are in good shape and are old school aluminum mags. Overall, this is a very striking car and if restored would be a pretty unique head turner. The car is located in Innisfail, Alberta (1 hr north of Calgary). I'm flexible on the price.
