GREAT STARTING PRICE / NO RESERVE 1996 Taurus GL Wagon 4-door - Working Condition Condition: USED, Seized by Police, Court Ordered Sale. The Ford Taurus currently starts up and runs OK. We are assuming that the last Oil Change was 4-4-2011 based on the window sticker saying that 7-4-2011 was the next one due. The A/C is currently not working and we do not know why. It does appear to of been side-swiped on the passenger side at some point (see pictures for scratches and slight dent in back). This vehicle does have typical scratches, rub spots, perhaps light rust spots, etc. This Ford Taurus also DOES NOT have a spare tire or jack with it that we could see. This vehicle most likely has been sitting without use for up to a year, and we would recommend a good check-over and general maintenance after you get it. The "latch" system for the hood seems to be sticking as far as opening the hood. We did not check out all features of the vehicle other than the typical power steering, heater & a/c. So please be aware, there may be a light bulb out here and there, broken knob, sticky lock, frozen part, etc., especially since it has been sitting for about a year. Hood Latch is sticking, hard to open, should be an easy fix we think. How you see it pictured is how you will get it. The Title will come directly from the City of Wadsworth / Police Department. You will be able to register it and we feel it should be able to be driven home. Look at the pictures carefully as they do SUPERSIZE by clicking on them. Ask questions if you have any. Miles at the time of taking the pictures 4-16-2012 was 102711, We feel this is probably the original miles. According to the Autocheck Website this is suppose to have a 3.0L V6 SFI Engine in it.
