Vehicle Detail
Very nice 1993 Mustang twin turbo drag race project car for sale. I was so happy the day i found this very clean 4 cylinder LX with no bodywork, original paint and no sunroof that i bought as a bare shell and began transforming it into a twin turbo hot rod. The interior is very clean and complete minus the original drivers seat but most of it is just sitting in place as i was undecided about what kind of roll cage i wanted to install. The engine wiring harness, ecm, engine, sensors, and some of the driveline are all from a 90 GT that i owned that was involved in a minor front end collision and was not in good enough condition that it was worth repairing. Enough about background, i am going to list out all the stuff i have purchase for it, and what is needed for completion. Used Weld Superlite 5 lug wheels front and rear with Mickey Thompsen 28X10.5 slicks and skinnies. Front end has a new tubular k-member, tubular a-arms, and coilover stock front struts adn Flaming River manual steering rack. Rearend is and Ford 8.8 with 3.73 gears, 5 lug Moser 28 spline axles(no c-clip eliminators), Ford posi Traction center section, disc brakes, stock control arms with no battle boxes. I have the stock steel driveshaft and an aluminum one from a Ford Explorer that i was going to have cut down and use. Transmission is a Ford C4 that i got from a Mustang racer that was running in the 10's on nitrous who was redoing his combination to go alot faster. It has a reverse valvebody but no transbrake, with a 10 inch converter. The converter does not work with the bell housing i have, so you would need to locate the correct bell housing or a different converter. Engine currently between the fenders is the bone stock longblock from my wrecked 90 GT with 71,000 miles on it. Oil pan is new and has been tapped on both wides with 10AN fittings for the turbo oil return lines. Topside is an New Edelbrock Super Victor spider type EFI intake with F.A.S.T. Fuel Injection fuel rails with stock 19 pound injectors and 8AN supply fittings. Polished stainless steel headers for the exhaust that i was going to mate to two T-70 no name turbochargers. I was looking to only make about 7-10 pounds of boost, these will do that easily. Intercooler is a Treadstone brand and has two inlets on each side at the bottom, and one outlet straight out the top in the center. Fuel tank is new, and comes with a dual outlet sump comversion. I have a new Ford 5.0 engine block with head studs and forged BRC brand dished pistons that the piston pin height is for building a 347 inch motor with a 3.4 inch stroke and 5.4 rod length. I also have about 20 foot of new 8AN bradied stainless fuel line and several extra 8AN fittings, full length subframe connectors, Fox Body specific driveshaft loop, MSD to TFI pigtail, solid motor and trans mounts and nice billet oil filter remote adaptors. Things still needed are high flow fuel pump, regulator, 42 pound injectors and maf, turbos mounted and plumbed, I have one wastegate, you will need another, blow off valve, mustang manual steering shaft, rear brake rotors, shift cable for B&M Hammer shifter, a new radiator, steel 3.4 inch stroke crank, 5.4 h-beam rods and a roll cage.
