Vehicle Detail
1960 Ford Ranchero Falcon Pickup Truck, 1nline-6 cylinder, auto transmission, partially restored, solid runner and driver! This is a nice old vintage Ford at 52 years of age and looking very nice! It is partially restored, it didn't need to be fully restored because it was in good solid original condition to begin with. This Ranchero has never been in an accident! If you want to go to car shows this summer this would be the one to take! with just a little cleaning and detailing this can be a great show car! The front bumper is freshly rechromed, the rear bumper is the original with some pitting. The bed rail trim also has pitting but they aren't noticeable at a distance. The odometer says 23,755 miles, we are guessing that it was 123,755 miles. Brand new tires! Original wheels, trim rings and hub caps. It runs, drives and stops as it should. The brakes cannot be compared to newer car's brakes, it takes a while to stop, but for me driving around the small town of Renton, WA, I don't have a need to go fast so it suits me just fine. It is not a race car, so acceleration is not quick and this isn't very powerful, it seems to just pleasantly glide along the street at a nice and sweet rate of speed. The engine is an inline 6 cylinder, 170 cubic inch, 1 barrel carburetor with an automatic transmission. It looks like the engine was overhauled at some point in time, there is also a transmission service sticker under the hood. Overall this is a very nice truck, I have no complaints, it doesn't need anything other than a new owner that will show it the love it deserves... The Vin/Serial number data plate has this information on it: Body - Color - Trim - Date - Trans - Axle 66A - M - 56 - 13H - 3 - 2 We welcome and encourage any local bidders to come look at this Ranchero prior to the last day of the auction. I have included a video below showing this Ranchero in great detail. Our reserve and 'Buy it Now' prices are realistic. My father just wants me to pass this Ranchero along to someone else to enjoy without breaking the bank! ............................................................................................................................................ We would like for this to be paid for in full and picked up within 7 days. That is plenty of time to do that! I have bought cars around the world on Ebay, paid for them in full and had them picked up within a day of buying them, it isn't that difficult to do...
