You are bidding on a 1971 Dodge W-200 Power Wagon 4x4 with the Adventurer Trim Package!! This truck is an original survivor with only 64,896 miles on her! The exterior is a Medium Blue Paint, with a Blue Interior. Under the hood is the original BIG BLOCK 383 V8 paired with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission. Has .410 Traction-Lock Axles, Factory HD Cooling and Trailer Towing Package, Factory A/C, Gauge Package, Tinted Glass, and Cab Clearance Lights made the list of Dodge factory installed options on this vehicle! Dodge installed a Ramsey 12,000lb PTO Driven Winch right behind the original factory front step bumper (See Photos). This Power Wagon came originally equipt with TWO (2) Auxiliary Fuel Tanks (The truck has a total of 3 fuel tanks), all of which are completely functional! The only aftermarket add-ons are the Pioneer CD/MP3 Head Unit in the dash (with removable face) and 2 speakers (one in each door). This truck was purchased in California during the "Black Pates" era, and they still remain on the vehicle today (This truck spent most of it's life in Southern California, Has never seen snow or salt, and has only been in Ohio for the past 2 months!! On Mar-26-12 at 06:26:43 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION BUYERS: Because we have received several telephone calls from serious buyes who have requested better detail of this very rare truck, we have added 34 more detailed photos of the truck. Since the truck was dirty and un-touched when the original listing photos were taken, we felt it prudent to have the truck washed and waxed, as well as the engine compartment cleaned up, as it had decades of dirt built up on it. The only thing under the hood that has been painted was the air cleaner. All of the other components remain as they left the factory. The truck still retains the original factory applied paint and inspector's grease pencil markings, both under the hood, as well as on the left valve cover from when the engine was originally manufactured. Please note the impeccable original condition of the frame, inner fenders, rockers, fenders, door skins, tailgate, trim, grill, and factory original equipment.The original paint has some thin spots and chips, as well as a few dings, but these photos show the wonderful original and un-molested condition of this truck. This truck is truly awsome! Also, since the truck was listed, a maintenance check has also been performed. The oil and filter have been changed, all fittings have been greased, a new air filter has been installed, both valve cover gaskets have been changed, a new water pump has been installed and the cooling system has been flushed and re-filled with the proper coolant mixture. At the same time, all the belts were changed. The truck required nothing else and is ready to go. Not mentioned before is that the truck has recently had four new shocks installed and a complete new true dual exhaust system with flowmaster mufflers. The truck has a very nice throaty and powerful sound, but is still tasteful. When you hear the truck, it commands respect. If it's new owner installed a set of new tires (existing tires about 40-50%), this truck is ready for daily service and can be enjoyed for many more years of service. One final note, when the valve covers and factory original gaskets were removed to install the new gaskets, it was noted that the inside of the engine is super clean with absolutely no sludge build up, yet again re-confirming the extemely low original mileage of this truck. We have never seen an original un-molested Power Wagon that is this clean, rust free, and low mileage as this one, so buyers, don't miss out on this very special truck!
