Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a: * 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue GLS * 3.5 Liter V6 FI DOHC 24V * Automatic transmission * Sedan 4 door * Black in color with gray interior * Leather seats * Mileage is at 135,600 * Rear Spoiler Car is in fair condition. This is a car that I would recommend for the person that likes to fix up cars, or if someone wants it for parts, or someone who needs a car to run errands or for local trips. The car runs and drives pretty well, but does have some things that are starting to wear out. Here are the Pros and Cons to the car: Cons: * Transmission slips on occasion, mainly after car has been running for about 15 or 20 minutes. Hard shifts from gear to gear. * Engine burns oil. Need to add a quart about every 500 miles. * Small transmission fluid leak. * Car exterior shows many small scratches. Mainly on hood and trunk. There are a couple of small dents. One above the front driver side tire and the other on the driver side passenger door. Most likely from a car door hitting it or a shopping cart. Interior of car shows some minor wear to seats. Driver side seat has some stitching loose (about two inch area) but that can be easily fixed. Pros: * Car runs fine at this point. Even though transmission slips a bit, the car runs well. I use it to run errands around town and it gets me to and from just fine. * In last twelve months replaced water pump, battery, and starter. * Heater and air conditioning work. * Electric windows, driver side airbag, anti-lock brakes, traction control setting. * Keyless entry, power locks, seat warmers, power seats. * Radio and CD player works. * Steering wheel has controls and settings for radio and CD player, volume control, and cruise control. I make no guarantees about the car and there is no warranty. Car is being sold “as is”. I am not a mechanic so I can only tell you the information I know as the owner who drives it every day. I do not want to mislead anyone, so I am trying to be very truthful about all the things I have listed. Honestly, the car does run fine right now but there are things that will need to be addressed in the future. I am not prepared to put that kind of work or money in to it at this time, so that’s the reason we are selling it. That’s why I think it would be good for the car enthusiast who likes to work on cars, or someone who wants it for parts, or someone looking to use it for running around town. My mother in law was the original owner of the car and then I purchased it from her in 2008, so it has only been in our family. You can research it from the VIN number, but it has been in no accidents. Buyer will need to apply for their own license plates as the ones on the car now will stay with me. If you have any questions please contact me. I will try to answer them as honest as I can, but I am limited in my knowledge about cars.
