Vehicle Detail

UPDATE: There isn't any rust through that I am aware of. Frame rails look solid to me. No holes. The worst rust is in the trunk floor, but it's solid and has no holes. Interior floor is solid. The worst rust is in the engine compartment around the hood brackets I believe. It does have power steering, and no, I don't have mirrors for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had big plans and dreams for this car, but life has a way of changing things. It's a slant 6 car. One of 819 or 821 depending where you look. Other than maybe some nuts and bolts I misplaced, its a 95-99% complete car. The car came Tor-Red with a white interior. How rare is that? Chrysler Corp. didn't keep those kinds of statistics. Or so I'm told. The engine has been removed, but it's there. I drove it to the emmisions center for a VIN verification so it did run when I bought it. The VIN verification I have isn't any good. They told me they are only good for a year or so. I have a partial build sheet. I did have the fender tag, but I removed it to scan it years ago. It has been misplaced. If I ever come across it, it's yours. It's got 14" ralley wheels, and I do have the chrome trim rings for them. All of the glass is good. I doesn't have a headliner, and it needs dash guages. The front grill is all there, but it is broken. It was only cracked at one point, but it broke none-the less. It's easily repairable, or so I have been told. Someone bondo'd over the side marker lights. Why? No idea. The rear quarters appear to have been fixed. I have a clear Utah title. I haven't registered it here in Colorado cause they want almost $1100 bucks to title it. Needless to say, if you want a clear Colorado title, ADD $1100 to the price. I have owned it for 6 1/2 years. Most of that time it was stored in a friends garage. We pulled the engine and were going to start working on it, but my job disappeared, and my friend got married and moved. No money and no place to work on it makes it difficult to build a car. This car WILL have to be towed. I paid over twice the asking price for this car. I could make most of it back parting the car out, but I don't feel like it. So I won't be answering people that want parts. This car is for sale locally as well. If it sells, I'll end this auction. Cash or PayPal only. Buy will have to make arrangements to pick the car up. You can see more pictures on my website. Please be patient while it loads. I have added 10 more photos to my photo page. There are 53total. http://johnhawk.org/72barracuda.html NOTE: I will add to this post when I think of anything else. I'm sure I've forgotten something.
