These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** BEAUTIFUL LOOKING TURN-KEY 1973 OPEL GT COUPE IN ORIGINAL STRATO BLUE WITH 13,956 MILES ON THE ODOMETER THAT WILL DRIVE ANYWHERE AND SAVE TONS OF GAS DOING IT! EXTREMELY FUN AND SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. The car comes from Brooklyn, NY where it has been collector owned and maintained since the 1980s in his personal private collection. This is a VERY ORIGINAL CAR in the original strato blue that has never been restored. When I got it, it was in excellent original shape and had been driven regularly once a week on nicer days. The original body was lightly wetsanded and professionally buffed to bring out its original shine and it shows very well. Interior is nearly all original, with a new headliner replacing the old one, and absolutely stock with no modifications. Wheels are original as well and have a set of new trim rings. Interior is in VERY GOOD overall condition with minor general wear here and there. Seats are nice. Carpet is worn in places but still very presentable. Door panels very good. Headliner excellent. Nice original steering wheel. Overall a beautifully presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood, the original inline 4 cylinder 1.9L motor is still there and is absolutely stock with NO modifications other than regular maintenance and servicing parts. Starts easily and purrs like a kitten. GOOD power overall and brakes stop WELL (pedal is a little spongy). Nice and solid throughout. Transmission shifts smooth. Steering is nice and nimble without too much play in it, if any at all (handles like a Corvette!). Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it anywhere in the country. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show, never on any long trips. Underside appears to be VERY SOLID as well with EXCELLENT frame and good floors. All the electrical seems to be working well, including the headlights, signals, brake lights and even the horn still works! Even has the original Opel radio in it (not working). Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with GOOD luster for a nice driver (NOT a showcar ). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect like small chips/minor touch-ups/tiny scratches and the like. Rear passenger quarter may have been repainted at one time. Missing: lighter. A couple of the signal lenses are cracked and should be replaced. Front bumper could use rechroming. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A BEAUTIFUL LOOKING AND EXTREMELY FUN LITTLE CAR IN THIS 1973 OPEL GT COUPE THAT IS 100% TURN-KEY AND WILL TAKE YOU WHERE YOU WANT TO GO IN STYLE! Feel free to e-mail me at CLASSICS411@AOL.COM with any and all questions. Thanks
