BARN FIND!! Up for auction is this nice honest original unmolested 99% complete 1969 Firebird "400" coupe with automatic transmission, Factory AIR CONDITIONING, Power Steering and console. The car has been with the same owner since 1969(one owner here in nice dry El Paso Texas)until now, the engine is the original 400 with YT code and has never been out of the car, the a/c parts were removed when the compressor stopped working but it is in the trunk, the carb was also replaced years ago and the original was lost, everything else under the hood looks complete. It had been repainted 2 times in it life and no body panels had ever been changed. The interior is still original with an exception to the dash pad and windshield pads had been recovered long ago. The original color to the car is Carousel Red with a Parchment Vinyl top and Parchment interior very nice combo!! The car has not been a driver since 1997 but was run a few time a year, The car does start, run and drive(it does need a good tune up and carb work along with cleaning the fuel tank, the brakes are working fine, the power steering is not working right now, it need the cable to the shifter replace. About the only rust I could find is the trunk pan it does have rust holes and pitting(look at pictures), the hood has some paint bubbling in the front(very little) and the roof does have some pin holes from the vinyl top. It does have a good clear title. Please look at all 100+ pictures to see how complete this car is. You are welcome to have the car inspected through ebay or any other company.
