frm2 Store This auction is for a 1986 Ford van (former ambulance) E-350 XL with a Yankee Coach body built by American Modular Body Corp. Purchaced locally from a fire department. I used this van for several years as a swap meet parts hauler and am upgrading to a newer van. A very reliable unit that was well maintained, the doors and front fenders are rusting, (from Pa. salt), box is aluminum with all compartment doors locking. Pa. inspected in November 2011. Most of the electricial items still function, light bars and sirens were removed years ago. The air conditioner needs charged and the rear heater was disconnected. Ford V8 "460" engine, automatic tramsmission shifts smoothly and it has dual rear wheels. Tires are 80% tread, speedometer sensor was broken in 2008 and I drive this about 800 miles a year.The miles would be correct at 70,000. Gas mileage is around 8 MPG. Selling with no reserve, as is.
