These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING 1973 DODGE CHALLENGER 383 TRIBUTE CAR WITH A TON OF GO-FAST GOODIES AND PLENTY OF POWER TO CRUISE THE NEIGHBORHOOD OR THE HIGHWAY! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Power steering 2) Power DISC front brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Standard black bucket seat interior with floor shift 5) 383ci/335hp big block motor 6) Automatic transmission on the floor 7) Bulge hood 8) 15" Amerian Racing wheels with white letter radials 9) R/T appearance package 10) Remote mirror (missing parts) The car comes from NY where it has been collector owned and maintained. Previous owner purchased the vehicle a few years ago and did quite a bit of resto-mod type work on the car, including installing a 383ci/335hp motor and changing the look of the car a bit so it looks more racy. He added the R/T badges, side stripe and hood stripe, as well as added American Racing wheels with meaty rubber. Bumpers and some minor trim were painted tastefully to match the sub-lime color. This is definitely a RESTO-MOD that starts at the turn of the key and will go anywhere in style. Interior is in GOOD condition with minor general wear here and there. Seats in good shape. Door panels are excellent. Steering wheel is good, missing horn button. Carpet worn but presentable with large hole in front of the shifter and wear by driver's heel pad. Headliner is NEW but needs to be installed. Dash pad like new. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a nicely built 375+ hp 383ci big block motor (replacing the factory 318) with mild racing camshaft and a ton of internal goodies, as well as name brand bolt-on parts such as an Offenhouser aluminum intake, Holley 4bbl. 750cfm double-feed carburetor, MSD 6A ignition module, MSD Distributor, MSD performance plug wires, Fuel cell, Hooker headers with Hooker performance mufflers. I've driven it mostly around the neighborhood, a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show. Starts at the turn of the key and drives great! Transmission has a MANUAL VALVE BODY so you can shift it by yourself and it shifts great. The 8 3/4" rear end has 3.42:1 gears from what I was told so it is streetable and you can take it on the highway without problems. Underside looks in pretty decent shape for a 40+ year old car. GOOD frame rails, GOOD floors and a SOLID trunk with no major eye sores that I was able to see. Being a nearly 40 year old car it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY for a GOOD driver with NICE shine. Could use minor wetsanding, otherwise pretty clean overall with some minor imperfections here and there like small scratches, couple of chips, a handful of bubbles by base corners of rear window, and the like. Missing: radio, ashtray, rear package tray, spare/jack, front windshield bottom corner moldings and rear windshield bottom left molding piece. Not working: gauges, high beams (has Halogen beams, brand new on both sides), may need a bulb or two replaced here and there as needed. Rear lower valence panel needs adjustment. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT EYE CATCHING 383 BIG BLOCK BRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC. STARTS AT THE TURN OF THE KEY AND YOU CAN DRIVE IT ANYWHERE. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A GREAT LOOKING, SUB-LIME 1973 DODGE CHALLENGER 383 MAGNUM WITH THE PERFORMANCE TO BACK UP THE LOOKS!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302cell or e-mail CLASSICS411@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
