Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING 1967 CHEVY CAMARO SS 396 TRIBUTE CAR WITH A TON OF RACING GOODIES AND PLENTY OF POWER TO CRUISE THE NEIGHBORHOOD OR DO A COUPLE OF RUNS AT THE TRACK! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Manual steering 2) Manual drum brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Traction bars 5) Ford 9" rear end with 5.36 gears 6) Standard bucket seat interior w/console and floor shift 7) 468ci big block motor (454 bored 0.030 over) 8) Automatic transmission on the floor 9) 4" cowl hood 10) Centerline style aluminum lightweight racing wheels (skinnies up front and fat ones on the back) 11) Front and rear spoilers 12) SS 396 appearance package The car comes from upstate NY where it has been collector owned and maintained. Previous owner purchased the vehicle a few years ago due to its racing history and wanted to make a racecar out of it, but didn't want to tear up such a solid car, so he just parked it in his garage and basically did nothing with it but drive it on a sunday every once in a while. When I got it, a couple of years ago, I went through the car and made it what it is today. The drivetrain was already installed, so I had the bodywork slightly massaged, professionally wetsanded and buffed to bring out its original luster and shine. Right now it looks great for a nice driver. The interior was also slightly spruced up and cleaned. A matching set of centerline aluminum wheels was installed and some detailing work was done underneath the car, in the engine bay and in the trunk. The car still has a good deal of racing goodies on it, but it definitely can be put back to stock without too much work. This was originally a 4 speed car and from what I was told an original SS 350 "4P" car. Interior is in GOOD condition with minor general wear here and there. Seats in good shape. Door panels like new (front ones are new, rear ones original and moderately worn). Steering wheel has wear. Carpet worn but presentable. Headliner in good shape. Dash pad has minor wear and is not with one small crack. Console is driver quality. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a nicely built 450+ hp 468ci big block Chevy motor (454 bored 0.030 over) with mild racing camshaft and a ton of internal goodies, as well as name brand bolt-on parts such as an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4bbl. 750cfm carburetor, MSD 6A ignition module, Holley fuel pressure regulator, Accel HEI ignition, line lock, electric fan, trunk mounted battery with shutoff switch, Hooker headers into dual Flowmaster mufflers, traction bars, Holley electric fuel pump, oversize radiator, etc. I've driven it mostly around the neighborhood, a few blocks here and there, it's streetable to a point but gears are pretty high so this is NOT a highway cruiser (unless you replace them with something more adequate). Underside looks in pretty decent shape for a 40+ year old car. The trunk has had a couple of patches but overall fairly solid, with the rear shock towers moved inward a few inches (NOT tubbed) for racing purposes. Floors look pretty good with minor wear and frame appears solid from what I could tell. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a presentable driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect like small chips and a couple of tiny scratches and such. Missing: spare/jack, wiper motor. Inner lower door corners have some rust bubbles on the inside only. Not working: horn, wipers, couple of gauges may need to be hooked up and perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing. Front tires have dry rot and should be replaced (rears seem fine). That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT EYE CATCHING BIG BLOCK BRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC. THIS IS BY NO MEANS A CAR YOU CAN DRIVE CROSS COUNTRY SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND, IT IS SET UP AS MORE OF A RACER. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A GREAT LOOKING, KILLER SOUNDING AND SUPER POWERFUL 1967 CAMARO SS 396 TRIBUTE CAR WITH THE PERFORMANCE TO BACK UP THE LOOKS!.
