These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING 1974 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE WITH 94K MILES ON THE ODOMETER IN MEDIUM RED! STRONG RUNNING 350CI V8 AUTOMATIC. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Power steering 2) Power Disc brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Deluxe black bucket seat interior 5) Stock 350CI V8 motor 6) TH-400 automatic transmission 7) 15" Rally wheels with white letter radial tires 8) Power windows 9) Air conditioning 10) Tilt/telescoping wheel 11) Am/Fm radio The car comes from West Virginia, where it has been collector owned and maintained. Older refurbishing on this car, which included paint/bodywork, new convertible top and some new interior pieces, as well as wheels/tires and some mechanical servicing. All done in the last few years I believe. When repainting the car, the rear bumper was replaced with a 75 unit as the previous owner liked it better than the split bumper for 74s. Interior is in GOOD condition with minor general wear here and there. Seats are presentable with normal wear and a seam split by the bottom cushion on the driver's side. Door panels presentable, with some wear on the sides on the driver's side. Good steering wheel. Dash pad in good shape. Carpet in good shape. Console is rough, and should be replaced. Overall a fairly presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood the stock 350ci V8 motor is there and runs strong. Dressed with L-82 finned aluminum valve covers and upgraded with HEI ignition. Starts easily and sounds great. Transmission shifts good and crisp. NO noises from the rear end. Good stock power overall and brakes stop well. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble with some normal play in it since this is a 35+ year old cadr. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it everyday with minor tlc! I've driven it mostly around my neighborhood, never on any long trips. Underside is actually in above average condition with good SOLID floorboards. SOLID frame rails from what I could see. Birdcage is nice and clean and windshield pillar posts are in good shape. Some normal rust by the front radiator support as is common with these. Overall much better than your average rusted out and pieced together underside, with only some minor surface rust present. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up FAIRLY with GOOD luster for a PRESENTABLE driver (NOT a showcar of course). Various imperfections in the fiberglass, including a couple of minor stress cracks, chips, scratches, couple of small dings etc. Missing: spare tire. Not working: A/C (all there and hooked up, but switch on console doesn't work), tachometer, console gauges not hooked up, brake lights and signals should be gone through. Carburetor should be rebuilt or adjusted properly as the car is a bit cold natured. Steering knuckle has some play in it. Some minor leaks here and there as is common with an old car. Vin number was reassigned by Florida at one time and is on the inside of the door jamb (partial original VIN is still on the rear driver's side frame rail as with any other Corvette). Windshield wipers work, but they hit the hood at times and get stuck. Driver's side outer door handle loose. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT LOOKING CRUISER THAT WITH VERY LITTLE TLC CAN EASILY BE TURNED INTO A DAILY DRIVER THAT YOU CAN TAKE ANYWHERE. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND FINISH TINKERING WITH IT AS YOU SEE FIT. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A 94K MILE 1974 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE WITH STOCK 350CI V8 MOTOR IN MEDIUM RED THAT IS LOADED WITH OPTIONS. DON'T MISS OUT, THESE CARS DON'T COME ACROSS EVERY DAY!.
