1949 Studebaker 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck. Truck is in amazing condition for its age! Truck does come with a clear clean Title. Title # is 4R7768. I have looked at the front driver side corner of the block for the matching number and it does not match. I guess during some time they must have replaced the engine. The Block # is 6RI898. A later model of the same style engine. The ID plates on the foot wall reads: Serial # R11-934 & Model # 2R11-22 The other ID plate on the foot wall reads: Model-2R-C2, Cab # 13798, Trim # T-6036, Paint # P-2243. I have tried to turn the engine by hand and it does not turn. I have not tried to start it. Mileage looks to be about 70,000 but it is very hard to read the numbers. Truck has been sitting since the mid 80s. Truck does have light surface rust, Dents & Rust through spots. This truck is very complete! Engine looks to be complete! Transmission gear box & drive shaft is in the bed of the truck. The previous owner removed the gear box for some reason, I am sure to make repairs of some sort & never reinstalled. -Damage! Most noticeable damage other than light dents is on the driver side door. The driver side door was damaged during the previous owner pushing the truck into a barn with the door open. Door it's self is no good but still has good parts. Damage is only on the door shell it's self and not on the hinges or the hinge pillar. Also the panel behind the bumper is bent on both ends but is solid and will straiten out nicely. Most noticeable rust damage other than surface rust. Is on both lower rear corners of the front fenders. On the lower edge of both doors and rockers. Also passenger side lower rear corner has a small rust through spot but is still very solid all around it. Driver side lower rear corner is completely solid. The bed has rust and pitting and a dip in the end at the tail gate. One last noticeable spot is on the interior on the driver side foot area on the left. Some glass is broken out. -Exterior body description! Truck does have light surface rust and paint, dents, rust through spots. Front fenders, rear fenders, bed, tailgate hall have some light dents & or a weld. Hood looks to be in great shape & very strait. Hood hinges, prop & latch work great. Grille has been dented on the top half. One will want to replace the grille or straiten it out. Should restore nicely! Hood ornament looks great. Hood side script is broken and missing letters. Front hood stainless trim has screws through it. -Under side description! Under side of truck looks to be complete with nothing missing & in very nice condition! Truck even has its original spare tire holder with tire & rim still in it. All rims and spare rim look to be original rims. Which is a plus for sure. The front cowl corners and cab mounts under the front fenders look to be solid and in great shape. Gas tank looks great from the out side but I have no idea what the inside looks like. -Interior description! The interior looks to be very complete! Driver side door panel is in the bed of truck. The seat springs look great with just light surface rust. Truck has both sun visor brackets with arms. Signal stat switch that has broken handle. Also a hand controlled electric brake on the column. There also is a voltage regulator under the dash on the passenger side. Interior of truck looks to be amazingly compete down to the horn button. Looks to be missing driver side door and window handles. -Payment & picking up requirements! A 500.00 deposit is required with in 24 hours of action close. Full payment of balance owed can be paid in person or through paypal. How ever before making full payment please contact me first. Truck needs to be picked up with in 30 days of action close unless other arrangements have been made for storage. Truck is stored in safe storage but is exposed to the elements. -Seller disclaimer!
