1975 Honda Gold Wing

FOR SALE is a 1975 Honda Goldwing GL1000 with Touring/Luggage (Left, Right & Top Cases). This Goldwing is in decent condition overall, however the motor is currently not running, (the bike has been sitting for the last 9 years or so.) The engine turns over easily and appears to be in good mechanical order. We have a clean clear title for this bike in hand and ready to transfer. The last known time of engine functionality was 2001-2002. The bike has a bit of weather wear showing, such as split seams on the seat, cracks & tears in the leather dash, light to moderate rust in various locations (exhaust, shock springs, undercarriage, handlebars). The bike has a nice patina. The fairings and bodywork on the bike are actually in decent shape. The paint appears dead, and would need to be sand-blasted and repainted. The bike looks as though it was fairly well maintained for the majority of it's life, and neglected only in the past few years. The left battery side cover is present, it is in the rear top case. I noticed it in the video after we posted the bike. The engine does turn over with the kickstart, but we have not investigated into why it hasn't stayed running. A bit of cleaning and a few repairs could put this classic bike back on the road! The luggage trunks & racks look a little rough, and would need some repair/restoration work to bring it up to par with a new set. Excellent restoration project! OR, keep spare parts for your Vintage Goldwing always on hand, without having to pay through the nose for hard-to find replacement parts! We were able to turn over the engine with the kickstarter and it is not seized up. We have not used starter fluid to try to run this bike. This bike has been sitting since 2001 or 2002 based on the last decal on the license plate on the bike. This bike should be considered as a restoration project or a parts bike only. This will likely need extensive work to get running.
