2000 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 -Dark Blue exterior (repainted June 2010) -Gray interior -5.7L V8 LS1 engine -Automatic transmission -All power options -157,xxx miles Upgrades include: -Aftermarket cd player -Chrome Billet Grille -Clear park lamps, front and rear -Halo Headlights -Chrome camaro letters on back -Chrome 17'' American Racing Toeqe Thrust Q wheels The Bad: -On cold mornings on cold start up you can hear light pistin slap until engine warms up, from doing research and talking with people who have worked with these cars in the past it seems to be a common thing in the vehicles with the ls1. It still performs very well and I drive it everyday. -The rear end roars. Needs new axle bearings and may need axles. Basically a complete overhaul of the rear axle may be necessary to eliminate the roar. The rear is not the stock rear. The one in the car has 3.42 gears in it, the car came factory with 2.73's. -Salvage/rebuilt NC title in hand ** With the stock rear in the car I took it to the track once, made 6 passes it ran 9.0's every time. Since the other rear has been installed I have not had the chance to get back to the track. You can feel the difference it is like a different car.
