You are buying a 1989 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck with liftgate system. ALTHOUGH SHOWN IN THE PICTURES, THIS AUCTION DOES NOT INCLUDE THE HEADACHE (BACK) RACK WHICH SITS AGAINST THE BACK OF THE CAB. The truck runs great. I have taken it on numerous trips in the past few months: -Baltimore to Norwich, CT, with a 900 lb. load on the back -Baltimore to Ocean City, MD with a 700 ib load on the back -Baltimore to Point Lookout, MD with a 600 lb load on the back. This truck has never left me on the side of the road. It refuses to die! Although the mileage is high, it has 40K on a remanufactured engine from Mid Atlantic engines. It has 70K on a professionally rebuilt transmission. The truck runs and I would have no problem driving it wherever I needed to go, but it does need some work. the tires will need to be replaced soon. The shocks will need replace soon. The 4wd engage motor does not work, and so you cannot put the truck in 4wd currently. It does have some rust (see pics). The liftgate works flawlessly, but you may want to replace the button control box. I believe this truck would qualify for historic tags in MD. If this is true, no need for inspection or emissions in MD. It has had new ball joints and a new blower motor installed in the past year. The vehicle has been un-tagged, so you will have to tow or bring a set of legitimate tags to drive it away. Buyer is responsible for shipping if necessary. I bought a new truck, so this one has to go. It is being sold as is. Thanks for looking.
