This auction is for one 1966 Mustang convertible pretty solid rolling shell. This was a factory T code six-cylinder body that has a lot of sheet metal work, already done. Both rear quarter panel’s, both rear frame rail extensions, both trunk pans, and the rear tail light panel has been professionally replaced. Part of the fender wells had been replaced with patch panels also. The floor pans have been professionally removed and are ready for the one piece floor pan with the hump to be installed, but not included in the auction. The cowl panel has been professionally drilled out and is ready for new inserts to be installed, also the new panels need bought by the buyer. The engine compartment has been sandblasted and painted with semi-gloss black paint. This is a mostly solid rolling shell that you could use to repair your rusted convertible, make a resto mod, or a Shelby clone. It needs a donor coupe car for the drive train and odd and end peices. Included in this auction, but not in the pictures are the following; two new reproduction front fenders, one new transition panel botween trunk and top, all of the convertible windshield stainless, two bucket seats, the bottom only of the rear seat, the one piece hump and seat riser metal that goes across the tp of the floor pans, one power top motor, four power top cylinders, both door glasses, and both vent glasses, two used doors for hardware, (doors are rusted, but have all the window mechanisms and latches) one used standard 1966 Grill and horse, two used head light buckets and piece that connects them. This car is located 45 minutes north of Panama City beach, Florida, 10 miles off of Interstate 10. The buyer is responsible for pickup and shipping of this car. I’ll will store it for 30 days after the auction until the buyer can talk his wife to come to Panama City Beach. If you bring a trailer I will meet you on your way to the Beach and get your trailer and load it up for you. You can pick up your loaded car and trailer on the way back, or come with me to load it.. As long as it is a bumper mount trailer, and not a fifth wheel I can help you with it. I will also be traveling memorial day to Huntsville, Alabama and can bring it six hours north for $200 gas money. Again this is a rolling shell with a clear open Florida title. This car has over $2000 worth of sheet metal, sandblasting, drilling, and primer already done. Also the cowl cover that was drilled out and belongs to this car, in usable shape but not in the picture goes with this auction. If a buyer bought and replaced the cowl inserts and the full floor pan set this would be on its way to making a nice car.
