1957 Thunderbird. This is a cool car that you can get in and just go, whether it is to the store, home depot, grocery shopping or out to dinner with little, to no worry. It is not a show car but certainly a runner that looks cool going down the road in it flat black rat rod primer. It corners great with front and rear heavy duty sway bars. This takes the normal roll out that is experienced around corners. There is a stereo installed in the glove box that has a remote. Comes with Power Steering that is smooth and does not leak. Power Breaks but booster not hooked up. It has a port hole top that has new headliner but needs to be put back together. Top has the rear glass, and stainless trim around window and all attaching parts. Comes with toneau cover. Has a Town and Country signal seek radio that seeks. Due to starting its life in Wisconsin it has had the rockers replaced along with the lower rear quarters. The car has a thick coat of undercoating so the floor pans are solid. There is an areas in the trunk that has rusted through see pics. The last owner purchased the car in 1970 for $500, have a copy of bill of sale. Lots of receipts with the work completed over the years. The front fenders were replaced with fiberglass due to accident. A Mustang 289 and a C4 trans installed and drips trans fluid. The motor is strong and was professorially installed with correct engineering and the front bar was not cut. Has glass packs and sounds cool going down the road with a deep rumble. Could use a good tune up but will start every time. The previous owner started the installation of AC and you get the parts to finish the install. The interior is great to get in and go but really will need to be replaced. If the car sells for $12,500 or more will include a correct Blue interior ( retails for over $600). If you want to purchase will sell separately after sale. If it sells for buy it now price will also include a re production soft top frame that needs to be assembled and covered. Car is registered through Oct 2011. Have 20 or so registration cards with stickers that were not used from 1971 through 1990. In addition there is a 1969 registration card from the owner who sold it in CA for $500. I think this car was in CA before 1969 but cannot prove that. Have the original Ford factory invoice delivery sheet. It is not a perfect car, however still looks great going down the road.
