Vehicle Detail
This was my father's Cadillac. It has less than 73,600 actual miles on it. The car has been stored in my brother's garage and driven only occasionally since about 1997. It has always been garaged as is evident from the near perfect padded white vinyl top. It has all the stuff you'd expect to find on a Fleetwood Brougham. It has a new battery, new water pump, pan gasket set and freeze plugs. It has the original 472 cubic inch engine. The transmission was rebuilt in 1989. The air conditioning needs charging and the power steering has a small leak. The radiator was leaking and I have recently had it repaired with new inlet, outlet and filler neck. The radiator core is good. The tires are good but not new. So that the new owner can see that the car has always been well cared for I have chosen NOT to clean and detail the engine compartment, the trunk carpet or the interior carpets. The dash pad has no cracks but the steering wheel rim is cracked, the driver's seat has a split in the upolstery, and the lens on both rear seat upper vanity lights is missing. There is a tiny dent in the trunk lid (did not break the paint) and the right rear tail light housing has a small ding. Overall the car is in great shape for its age, is solid with only slight surface rust on the underside. The original undercoating is still good. The car starts, runs and drives great. I recently drove the car about 60 miles from Ft. Worth to Garland with no problems. The car was originally purchased from Frank Kent Cadillac in Ft.Worth. I believe that my father was the second owner, bought it from Frank Kent Cadillac probably in the late 1970's. Serious bidders may call and I will try to answer any questions. 972-496-6486. A new heater core may be needed.
