This auction is for one 1965 mustang fastback old drag race car body. This was a car drag raced back in the day in the Florida Panhandle and in lower Alabama area named the Texas Twister. At that time someone put a straight axle in it and remover the shock towers to put a big block in it. It has a larger bolt pattern than the normal Mustang on the front with 7/8 inch nuts, It no longer has a drivetrain in it and I'm selling this a shell for someone to use the roof, molding and fastback panel bracket stuff for a coupe to fastback conversion. It has alot of rust in it and would need alot of metal repair to put it back stock, thats why I say it needs to be clipped. It still has the C-code numbers under the hood on the two aprons that are still there. I will be selling this with a bill of sales only since it was originally a Alabama car without a title. The buyer can get with a tag or title company if they need the numbers for a fastback when they fix this car. The buyer will need to send a roll back type truck to get it since its not a roller. If the buyer wants to bring a full floor trailer with him and pick it up, I'll help him pull it from my trailer to his with a come along. Again this is for the shell only as it sits with no interior, doors or drive train. I don't know the race history or anything about this car except what I've told you, so you can research it and the phone number on the fender to see if its something special. I guess the previous owner was a mustang fan and placed it there years ago. I decoded it below and it matches the number under the hood on the drivers apron. Also the front straight axle is a leef spring type and is hooked to the original PS drag link. I hope this helps in the deciding to buy this part of a shell.
