1976 Honda Z50A

Here is a nice 1976 Honda Z50A minibike. I bought it three years ago, with intentions of making it a daily runner for the grandkids. That did not happen, so it's time to let it go to a new home. I have no idea of the kilometres/miles/hours that the bike has run. It ran when I bought it, and has been sitting with stabilised fuel in the tank ever since. I have not attempted to start it. The engine turns over with what seems like good compression. The pictures give a good idea of its overall condition. At some point it has fallen over to the left as the gear shift lever and the left bar are bent slightly. The seat cover is torn on the left front edge. I suspect that the rear light is non-standard. The tank is rust-free inside and looks in pretty good shape outside with not major dings. Both tyres are well beyong their 'best by' date and will need to be replaced with new tubes. The mudguards are in good shape but show surface rust on their indersides. The buyer is responsible for organising shipping, if necessary. I will build a shipping crate if necessary; the cost of materials will be at least $100. I will deliver the bike within a 100 mile/160 kilometre radius for $50. There is no reserve or 'buy it now' price on this auction. The bits and pieces alone are probably worth more than the starting price! The cost of shipping to the US will be APPROXIMATELY $1.75 per pound weight; to Canada it will be APPROXIMATELY $1.25 per pound weight. I hope that this helps. Thank you for your interest.
